Christmas Fudge

Amazingly creamy, delicious, and good for your body! If you want to ‘WOW’ your friends and family, whip up some of our Organic Raw Peppermint Fudge! Just a quick warning, you will need to make two batches, because you will probably eat the entire first batch yourself. 😉

Christmastime is a busy time at our home because we spend most of the month making homemade organic personal care products to give as Christmas gifts and of course a lot of baking.  We go all out with many of our organic recipes that have been handed down from our family.  Our daughters especially love this time of year because they love to get out Grandma’s famous recipes!

We always prepare a few extra healthy and raw recipes to make sure that a lot of nutrition is passed around throughout all of the holidays.

When most people hear fudge, they instantly think a ton of sugar and fattening.  Our fudge is so, so good for you!  You will not experience any guilt or added pounds for indulging in our recipe!

Organic raw cacao is the highest whole food source of magnesium, which also happens to be the most deficient mineral in the diet of modern cultures. Magnesium relaxes muscles, improves peristalsis in the bowels and relaxes the heart and cardiovascular system. The dark chocolate antioxidants have been clinically proven to literally dissolve plaque built up in the arteries which helps in reversing heart disease and causes naturally lower blood pressure. Also, various other vitamins and minerals in raw cacao benefits the cardiovascular system.

Organic Raw Peppermint Fudge

Ingredients:

  • 1 C Organic Unrefined Coconut Oil
  • 1/2 C Organic Raw Cacao Powder
  • 1/4 C Organic  Raw Honey
  • 1 1/2 tsp Organic Vanilla Extract
  • 1/4 C Organic Coconut Milk
  • 2 Drops YL Peppermint Vitality Essential Oil

Instructions:

  1. Combine coconut oil and coconut milk in Kitchenaid fitted with a whisk attachment; on medium-high speed beat the milk and oil together for approx 5 minutes or til glossy and thick.
  2. Add the remaining ingredients to the mixer; mix on low speed until the cacao is incorporated then change to high until everything is thoroughly combined.
  3. Add peppermint essential oil to fudge; stir with a spoon.
  4. Line a 6×6 or 8×8 glass pan with parchment paper.
  5. Pour chocolate mixture into prepared pan; smooth with the back of a spoon.
  6. Place fudge in freezer for approximately 20 minutes; or until set.
  7. Enjoy!
