Organic eggnog is centuries old (way before the big companies took over), and since eggs and milk tended to be scarce and expensive in winter, the drink came to be associated with wealth, prosperity, and health.<\/p>\n

The fat in organic grass-fed milk and the yolks of organic eggs from hens raised on pasture are loaded with healthful omega-3 fatty acids, the same fatty acids in fish that you may already be buying in supplement form.\u00a0 Of course, if you’re not into organic raw dairy, you can certainly use organic milk or full-fat coconut milk (preferably homemade).<\/p>\n
