Halloween is in one week, and for most kids (and parents) it means trick or treating for a lot of candy.\u00a0 You don’t have to succumb to tradition and serve chemically-laden, GMO candy. Thankfully, there are a lot of other options, healthy options!<\/p>\n

One of our favorites is making Halloween treats with whole organic foods.\u00a0 When you create the treats out of fruit, you are still getting a little sweetness that everyone craves at one point or another.\u00a0 The best part about creating homemade organic treats is making them as a family.\u00a0 Our two daughters love helping out in the kitchen!<\/p>\n

Once you start creating homemade whole organic food treats, you will never want to turn back to purchasing the cheap, fake candy!<\/p>\n

We would like to note that if you find that you want to still splurge and allow your children some candy, please make sure that you purchase organic candy that is only sweetened by organic fruit.<\/p>\n
