Instructions
For the Donuts
Preheat oven to 350* F Position rack to the middle of your oven
Simmer apple cider in a small saucepan for 15 minutes
Remove from heat and add one drop of clove essential oil; place in refrigerator to cool
In a large bowl; whisk together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, cinnamon and salt. Set aside
In a medium bowl; combine the egg, melted butter, and brown sugar. Whisk until smooth.
Add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients; whisk until just combined, do not overmix
Pour batter into donut pan. Bake for 9-12 minutes; until toothpick comes out clean
For the Topping
In a small bowl; melt butter
In another small bowl; combine sugar and cinnamon
Lightly dip the donuts into the butter, then coat with cinnamon and sugar mixture
