Organic Luxurious Floral Bath Bombs
Ingredients:
- 2 C Baking Soda
- 1 C Citric Acid
- 1 C Organic Corn Starch
- 5 tsp Organic Sea Buckhorn Oil
- 1 C Epsom Salt
- 2 tsp Filtered Water
- 20-30 drops Young Living Essential Oil
- Pinch of Young Living Eye Shadow in the color of your choice (Optional)
- Organic Dried Flowers (Lavender or Chamomile)
- Bath Bomb Molds
Instructions:
- Combine all dry ingredients except the flowers in a large glass bowl, stir well.
- In a separate glass bowl; combine sea buckhorn oil, water, and essential oils, whisk until combined.
- While whisking the dry ingredients, Slowly add a few drops of your wet ingredients until it is combined. This part is crucial as you need to pour slowly due to the wet ingredients causing a reaction with the citric acid.
- Once your wet ingredients are mixed into your dry; it should feel like damp sand.
- In one half of your bath bomb mold, sprinkle a small amount of dried flowers. This will become your top when you put the mold together.
- Fill each half of your mold with your mixture pressing it down firmly.
- Firmly press the mold halves together.
- Place the half with the dried flowers on top so that you know which half contains the flowers.
- Allow the molds to sit for approximately 1-2 minutes.
- Lay out a sheet of parchment paper.
- Carefully remove the top half of the mold, you may need to tap a bit on the mold if it seems to stick a bit. Once the top half if removed, remove the bottom half and sit the bath bomb on the parchment paper.
- Let your bath bombs sit for 12 hours – this will allow them to fully harden.
- Store your bath bombs in a glass jar.
- When you are ready for your bath, simply drop a bath bomb into your water once you have entered your bath.
- Enjoy!
