We’re sure that you have heard of Pumpkin Apple Butter, but have you heard of Organic Citrus Cinnamon Pumpkin Apple Butter??!!
We’ve combined the savory taste of pumpkin, the sweet taste of applesauce, and then kicked it up a notch by adding a splash of citrus and our amazing vitality essential oils to make what we call an exquisite pumpkin pie in a jar!
Delicious Organic Citrus Cinnamon Pumpkin Apple Butter
Ingredients:
- 15 oz Organic Pure Pumpkin Puree
- 1 1/4 C Organic Unsweetened Apple Sauce
- 2/3 C Organic Maple Syrup
- 1 tbsp Organic Freshly Squeezed Lemon Juice
- 1 Organic Cinnamon Stick
- 1″ Organic Ginger; freshly grated
- 1 tsp Organic Vanilla Extract
- 1 drop YL Cinnamon Bark Vitality Essential Oil
- 1 drop YL Clove Vitality Essential Oil
- 1 drop YL Nutmeg Vitality Essential Oil
Instructions:
- In a large, wide saucepan on medium heat; bring pumpkin puree, applesauce, lemon juice, cinnamon stick, and grated ginger to a simmer.
- Cook for approximately 45 minutes, stirring occasionally until the butter is thick.
- Add vanilla extract and essential oils.
- Cook for approximately 10 minutes until the butter is a spreadable consistency.
- Pour into clear jars, cover, and refrigerate.
- Enjoy!
