We LOVE fitness!  There is nothing better than a rush of endorphin’s after an awesome workout!

Endorphins are morphine-like chemicals produced by the body that help diminish pain while triggering positive feelings.

They’re sometimes referred to as the brain’s “feel-good” chemicals, and are the body’s natural painkillers.

Endorphin is a combination of the words “endogenou” (produced within the body) and “morphine”

They’re released from the pituitary gland of the brain during periods of strenuous exercise, emotional stress, pain, and orgasm.

Endorphin’s help relieve pain and induce feelings of pleasure or euphoria.

Prior to us using essential oils, we would find that we were very sore especially after a workout like plyometrics.

Once we started incorporating our essential oils with our workouts, we were able to workout harder, for a longer period, and most importantly , our recovery time was much, much better and shorter!

Let’s start with our ‘Pre-Workout’!

At least 30 minutes before each workout, it is important to increase the amount of water you consume. Supplement this with your choice of NingXia Red for added nutrition, NingXia Nitro and Slique Tea to increase alertness, and a clear capsule with 4-6 drops of Lemongrass essential oil to get ready for your workout. These products work together to help improve energy and endurance and increase thermogenics in the body.

Immediately following this preparation, it is important to warm up the body to prepare your muscles for the workout. If your muscles are sore, gently rub a few drops of Peppermint essential oil onto the affected area to help soothe the minor discomfort. As with any workout regimen, a healthy diet and proper technique will help you achieve your fitness goals.

Lets talk a little bit more about Peppermint Essential Oil.
