One of our favorite traditions for Christmastime is making homemade organic egg nog and organic Kahlua. Both drinks are a favorite of our family and friends. Since we make a virgin egg nog for the children, we have a treat for the entire family.
Looking back at our non-organic days, we can’t believe that we used to drink the Kahlua that is sold in the stores! Sure, the ingredient list is short, but it screams chemicals and gmo’s!
With only five ingredients; our organic Kahlua is easy and tastes amazing! You and your guests can enjoy our kahlua over the rocks, or add organic raw milk.
Since our recipe fills 2 1/4 750ml bottles, it will last you quite awhile.

Over low heat in a large pot; bring sugar, coffee, and water to a slow boil
Simmer sugar water for 10 minutes
Remove sugar water from stove
Add vanilla and vodka to pot; stir well
Funnel kahlua into empty wine/liquor bottles. You should be able to fill 2 1/4 750ml bottles.
Serve cover the rocks or add raw organic milk
